Unregister LegitCheckControl by opening the command line
(start -> run -> type “cmd” and press the enter key).
Type “regsvr32 /u LegitCheckControl” and press enter.
Open Windows explorer and go to “windowssystem32” folder located in the root of your boot drive.
Delete the files named “LegitCheckControl.dll” and “GWFSPIDGen.dll”.
Start Windows Registry editor (Start -> Run -> type “regedit” and press enter) search for the folder “WGALOGON” located in: “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogonNotify” and delete it.
Search and delete all references in your registry to “WgaTray.exe”.
