If you have an excel with many rows and you have applied filters or even only hidden some rows you can easily select and copy the filtered data by doing the following:
- Home tab -> Find & Select -> Go To Special…
- on the dialog box select “Visible cells only”
- this brings you back to the excel sheet with selected data.
Deselect by clicking anywhere and ctrl+a (select all) ctrl+c (copy) - Paste in a new sheet / different excel file
